With SmarterSelect, you can hide certain applicant/application information from your evaluators, or make the applicant anonymous altogether.
There are two steps to the process of making the applicant anonymous.
STEP 1: Hide applicant/application information from the evaluators
The first thing to know/remember is how to get to a Page, Section, or Question for editing. To do this, you must use the Application Tree on the right. To get to any existing Page, Section, or Question, click on the title of the Page/Section/Question in the Application Tree. See the image below for reference.
Hiding Pages & Sections
If you need to hide everything that is in a Section, but not everything on the Page, hide the Section. However, if you need to hide everything on a single Page, hide the Page only. This will hide everything within the Page automatically.
To hide an entire Page or Section, click on the Page in the Application Tree. You will see three icons in the top right-hand corner of the Page.
Click the Settings icon.
Check the box for "Hide from Evaluator".
Hiding Individual QuestionsTo hide only a single or few questions within a section that is not hidden, click on the question in the application tree that you want to hide and you will be taken to the question editing screen.
STEP 2: Make Evaluations Anonymous
If your intent is to make the applicants anonymous from the evaluators (or "blind evaluations"), there is user account-level information that also needs to be hidden.
This account-level information is shown both on the evaluator's My Evaluations table as well as in the evaluation itself.

To hide this information, go to Program (left-hand navigation menu) and click Edit Program.
Scroll all the way down to Options and Customization and select Make Evaluations Anonymous.
Save and this will immediately be applied, even to existing evaluation assignments in this program.
