The way the Common and Unique program feature works is the provider (you) will direct the applicants to the unique applications; that is, any specific and/or named scholarships. When the applicant completes this unique application, they will also complete the Common as the Common is essentially part of the unique. For the first unique program that is successfully submitted, so will the Common application be submitted. However, if the applicant applies to more than one unique, they must make sure that they are submitting each of those, as well. If they don't, you may find that the applicant's Common app is marked as Submitted as well as one other unique, but the rest are marked as Incomplete.
